The course will be held at the Shenzhen Medical Centre
of Peking University-Hong Kong University of Sciences and Technology,

The Shenzhen Medical Centre was established and
built by the participation of these two internationally well
regarded Chinese universities and is co-sponsored by central
and local Chinese Government funding. The Centre is located
in the city of Shenzhen. The Medical Centre consists of three
departments, Admininstration, Medical Management and Research
and Development, affiliated with Peking University Shenzhen
Hospital, Peking University Shenzhen Medical College and Shenzhen
Life Science Lit. Co.

Equipment/Facilities
For the workshop, 1 large lecture
theatre (seating for 145 individuals) and several small classrooms,
each with multi-media support (video projection, internet links)
will be provided. Desktop and laptop computers all with high
speed internet connections are available. Laboratory facilities
contain standard molecular biology equipment, such as PCR machines
and electrophoresis equipment. A library with over 800 academic
journals and 200 books, again with internet and email facilities,
will be made available. |

Accommodation
A student hostel will be made available in the campus. This
has 28 double rooms. |
